BAE Systems Commissioning the United States' Largest Shiplift in Jacksonville

BAE Systems announced that it will commission the largest shiplift in the United States right here in Jacksonville this June. At $200 million, the shiplift project is the international company’s largest capital investment in the country.
The facility upgrade should add 300 more direct and indirect jobs to the shipyard’s workforce, further boosting Northeast Florida's economy and reinforcing BAE Systems’ role as a major employer in the region.
